An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Punjab Police was dragged off for a distance as he remained clinged to the bonnet of a drug smuggler's car in Ludhiana. ASI Sanjeev Kumar was attempting to catch hold of drug peddler Sunny Doda who was fleeing with his car in Shimalpuri area. A CCTV footage showed Kumar being dragged along the fast moving vehicle as he remained clinging to the bonnet. The police have launched a hunt to nab the drug peddler.
