Grand old party’s dissent within, Sonia says look for new chief

The internal divide in the Congress is out in the open again with 23 senior leaders writing to interim chief Sonia Gandhi asking for a complete overhaul of leadership. According to reports, Sonia Gandhi has asked all these leaders to get together and find a new chief as she is not interested in leading the party again. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Centre pitching for re-opening of the metro train service on a day the capital recorded the highest number of new Covid-19 cases for August.
