The IMD on Friday said that Delhi will have to wait a little longer for the arrival of monsoon. However, there's possibility of slight shower which might bring temporary respite. “It's still a long time to wait for monsoon to reach Delhi. First we have to see how it moves into MP, UP and then comes Delhi,” said Anand Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director-General of IMD. He added, “Temperatures are already 2-3 degrees above the normal. Heatwaves are likely in West Rajasthan from tomorrow.” Sharma, however, cited possibility of slight shower over parts of North West India which might bring temporary respite.
