‘Eco Baba’ Seechewal wins Padma Shri

Fondly called, 'Eco Baba', Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal is an ecological saint who literally infused life in to Jalandhar's almost dead 160km river, Kali Bein. Baba Seechewal's efforts have been officially recognized and he has been awarded the Padma Shri.
