Hyderabad traffic cops beat the heat with cool jackets

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has taken up an initiative to protect its personnel from the searing heat. About 200 specially-manufactured jackets have been given to the city traffic police to prevent the officials on-duty from scorching heat. The fabric used in making these jackets, provides cooling effect to the person wearing it and hence, prevents them from exertion and tiredness. These are worn after being soaked in water. The administration plans to provide more such jackets in the near future.
