INTERVIEW | PM Modi on Ayodhya ordinance -‘Let judicial process be over’
Updated on Jan 01, 2019 07:47 pm IST
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in an interview the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) role in Ayodhya ordinance will kick in only once the judicial process is completed in the Supreme Court. PM Modi talked about Ram temple and Ayodhya in an interview with news agency ANI released on Tuesday. Responding to a question drawing similarity between the triple talaq ordinance and Ayodhya, PM Modi said the BJP government brought in the triple talaq ordinance only after the Supreme Court had given its verdict. PM Modi said the government's responsibility kicks in only once the judicial process is over and that it will try its best to follow up after a verdict is delivered.
