Men tonsure heads in protest of cow slaughter in Kerala

In a unique protest, at least 11 men in Gujarat's Rajkot area shaved their heads to protest the calf slaughter by Youth Congress workers in Kerala. Last week, scores of Youth Congress workers slaughtered a calf in Kerala after the Centre banned the slaughter of bovine animals. Rajkot Gauseva Aayog Committee members said that special prayers were held by cow lovers. They further said that protests will be held at all the district headquarters.
