Plastic rice, sugar found in Jalpaiguri and Hassan

The incidents of recovering adulterated food items are not going to stop anytime soon. Several residents of West Bengal's Jalpaiguri found that the stock of rice kept at their homes is made up of plastic. In a similar incident, plastic-made sugar was discovered while boiling water in Karnataka's Hassan. The frequent occurrence of such incidents has put a question mark on the supply of cereals to the general public.
