PM Modi offers prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple ahead of the last phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017. PM Modi, who is in his constituency, earlier held a roadshow amidst sloganeering of 'Har har Modi, Ghar ghar Modi'. He also paid tribute to Madan Mohan Malviya earlier in the day. PM Modi garlanded the statue of the late leader. The Varanasi region has 40 seats spread across seven districts and BJP is facing a tough electoral battle in the Varanasi North and Varanasi South assembly constituencies. The crucial Varanasi region will go polls on the seventh and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh election on March 8.
