Postman Mobile App launched to track real-time delivery in West Bengal

The postal department has launched a new mobile application, Postman Mobile Application (PMA) in the head post office of West Bengal's Siliguri. The app enables the postman to capture real-time delivery tracking using their mobile phones. Postman Mobile Application is an android based mobile app designed and developed by Centre of Excellence in Postal Technology (CEPT), Mysore. Currently, 36 mobile phones have been given to the postman and in the future more than 1800 phones will be given to every postman in the North Bengal circle.
