‘Rahul Gandhi visits temples’: Sena invites allies for Uddhav’s Ayodhya trip
Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray, will visit the temple town of Ayodhya, once the Shiv Sena-led coalition government completes 100 days in office. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut made this announcement while crediting Hindu god Ram for the party's recent good fortune. Ayodhya is considered to be Ram's birthplace. Raut also invited the Sena's allies in the government - Nationalist Congress Party and Indian National Congress. He said that Rahul Gandhi regularly visits temples. He also clarified that the state government does not run on 'Mandir, Masjid, Gurudwara, Church', but on issues like 'roti, kapda, makaan'.
