‘Can’t just damn GST, give solutions for better compliance’: Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman spoke on GST during her meet with tax professionals in Pune on Friday. During the conference, one of the tax professional raised concerned over implementation of GST to which the finance minister said it can't be damned now. “It might probably give you difficulties but I'm sorry, it's the law of the land now,” Sitharaman said. “Many parties in Parliament and in state assemblies worked together and came up with the Act,” she added.
