‘Thud of falling newspapers was like lullaby’: Tara Gandhi on family’s association with HT

Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee, granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, takes you down the memory lane reminiscing about her childhood and her family's association with the Hindustan Times. Her father Devadas Gandhi was the managing editor of Hindustan Times for two decades. “Thud of falling newspapers was like lullaby for us,” says Bhattacharjee, recollecting her childhood memories. Bhattacharjee is also the author of a memoir, 'Reflections of an Extraordinary Eye', and has dedicated her life to Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti.
