Various events are being held across the nation, especially in Mumbai, to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the horrific 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on its eighth anniversary, today. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with Police Commissioner of Mumbai Dattatray Padsalgikar and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray paid tribute to the lost lives. On this day in 2008, ten Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists came to Mumbai via sea route from Pakistan and carried out a series of coordinated shooting and bombing attacks across the city. The attacks lasted four days killing 166 people and injuring over 300.
