Watch | Farmers rebuild 25-year-old dam on their own

After waiting for over 25 years, farmers of more than 20 villages in Bareilly started constructing a dam with the help of mud and sand bags. These farmers have been facing irrigation-related problems for over a period of time and even after repeated requests to the administration, no action was taken. After losing all hopes, the farmers came together and collected money to build the dam. The construction of the 98-feet long and 20 feet wide dam started on Monday and was completed on Friday.
