India has strongly rejected Pakistan's accusations of “Indian-sponsored terror” following the deadly suicide blast in Islamabad, calling the allegations “baseless, unfounded, and a predictable diversionary tactic”. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directly blamed India for backing militant proxies in Afghanistan, allegedly responsible for both the Islamabad court attack and a separate blast near a cadet college in Wana, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—a claim made without evidence and despite the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or an affiliated faction having claimed responsibility for both attacks.
