Communist Party of India (M) returns to Lalgarh

Thousands of supporters of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) held a mass rally on Sunday to mark the re-establishment of their party office in Maoist-infested Lalgarh village of West Bengal. CPI-M leader Anuj Pandey said that the Maoists and the supporters of the People's Committee against Police Atrocities, a Maoist sympathizing outfit, had ousted them in 2009.
