Fishermen undergo vigilance training in Mumbai

With intelligence inputs suggesting that the Mumbai attackers had come via the sea route, police in Mumbai is impart training to fishermen and coastguards. Authorities have assigned policemen at various points along the seashores and beaches to provide training to the fishermen. Fishermen, often considered as the eyes and ears of the coast guard in India, said the government had ignored their warnings four months ago about militants using sea routes.
