In the wake of the Mumbai attack India steps up coastal security by inducting more patrolling boats. Militants killed 195 people on a three-day rampage in the financial hub last month. The militants, who attacked multiple locations in Mumbai, had entered the city from the sea. Chairman of Central Board of Excise further added that the step would boost security on the eastern and western coasts.
