Jammu and Kashmir police busted a module of the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba comprising six persons, who were tasked to burn down shrines in the state. Inspector General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, S M Sahai, said that the police received information regarding most of them being trained in Pakistan. One of the militants identified as Waleed confessed that they wanted to start an agitation similar to that of 2010 and create unrest in the valley by burning down mosques and shrines.
