In a farewell interaction with the media, President APJ Abdul Kalam on Friday said returning the Office of Profit bill was the 'most testing time' of his five-year tenure and that he said would be remembered for his turning the imperial presidential palace into a 'peoples' bhavan. Talking to reporters, President Kalam also said that since no consensus emerged on his name, he decided not to contest for the second term.
