Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who presented his third general budget, has seemingly disappointed the salaried class with no change in income tax exemptions. He also announced a 0.5% cess on services which pushes service tax up to 15%. Jaitley announced a three percent surcharge raise for the super-rich class. Overall, it's a mixed bag for the common man.

Apart from this, Jaitley prioritised key areas of investment, growth and jobs in a budget eyeing reforms.
