Winter fog throws New Delhi out of gear

A thick fog engulfed the national capital, New Delhi on Sunday as temperatures fell across northern India. Weather officials say that the western disturbances over northwest India are responsible for the sudden fall in the temperatures. The fog wreaked havoc on New Delhi's transport systems, canceling and delaying nearly 10 flights and an equal number of trains.
