The BCCI has indefinitely suspended IPL 2025 following escalating tensions with Pakistan and a failed drone-missile attack across Jammu & Kashmir, including near the Dharamshala cricket stadium. The Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings match on May 8 was abandoned mid-game, prompting a full stadium evacuation amid a blackout. Meanwhile, an IPL cheerleader narrated the tense moments during the blackout. IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal confirms the situation is "evolving" and that safety of all stakeholders remains the priority.
