Iran strikes US bases hard, Europe panics: THAAD battery crippled in UAE, Al Udeid radar hit

The European Union has raised alarm over missile and air-defence shortages as the Middle East war intensifies. EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius warned that Europe must rapidly increase production of air-defence systems, saying the U.S. may struggle to supply enough missiles for its own forces and regional allies. The warning comes as reports claim nearly $2 billion worth of U.S. military equipment has been damaged since the conflict with Iran began on February 28. Losses reportedly include a $1.1 billion early-warning radar in Qatar, damaged F-15E fighter jets, satellite communication terminals in Manama, and components of a THAAD missile defence system deployed in the Gulf.
