Israel has hit back at the United Nations after the global body denounced the Israeli military’s order to evacuate northern Gaza. The UN said it’s “impossible” to evacuate a million plus people without “devastating humanitarian consequences”. In response, Israel’s ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan said the global body’s reaction was shameful, and accused it of turning a blind eye when Hamas was being armed in Gaza.
