Israel reportedly knew about Hamas' Oct 7 attacks, but dismissed the information as "too ambitious". Reports say Israeli military obtained the document on Hamas' battle plans which explained how Hamas would strike Israel. The IDF also made a document codenamed "Jericho Wall" which explained how Hamas would overrun bases and take hostages.
