Jaishankar argued that expecting the world order of 1945 or 1989 to remain frozen was unrealistic and that global power has now spread out across domains. He said the coming decade’s biggest drivers of change will be technology and demographics, and predicted a more multipolar future because no single country enjoys overall hegemony across key arenas.
