J&K: Killer of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma eliminated in Awantipora encounter | Details

Two days after a Kashmiri Pandit was killed in Pulwama, security forces have eliminated the terrorist who carried out the attack. According to J&K police, the terrorist was identified as Aqib Mustaq Bhat. The encounter took place at Padgampora village in Awantipora which comes under Pulwama district of Jammu And Kashmir. As per the police, the slain terrorist initially worked for Hizbul Mujahideen, but was currently working with Lashkar-E-Taiba's local offshoot The Resistance Front (TRF). The ADGP Kashmir said that Bhat was involved in the recent targeted killing of a Kashmiri Pandit, Sanjay Sharma, in Pulwama on February 26. Meanwhile, the Awantipora operation is still underway & other than the killer of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, one more terrorist has also been neutralised.
