- Tensions between the Left party and the Opposition Congress in Kerala escalated after a crude bomb attack on the ruling CPI (M)’s state headquarters, AKG Centre, on Thursday night. A bike-borne miscreant was caught on CCTV hurling an explosive substance at the office. The incident took place hours before Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Wayanad visit and a week after his office was vandalized by members of CPI (M)’s student wing SFI. “The bomb attack was a well-planned one. It is a sequel to the recent attacks on the CPI (M) offices by the Congress. It can be seen as a part of converting Congress into a semi-cadre system. CPI (M) workers would not get provoked,” said LDF convener EP Jayarajan. Watch this video for more details.
