Eid al-Fitr also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast”, is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan. It is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. On Eid al-Fitr friends greet one another, presents are given, new clothes are worn, and the graves of relatives are visited.
