Here’s how you can control period pain
Updated on May 28, 2018 08:30 pm IST
Period pain can interfere with your daily life and hold you back from being at your best. A few changes in your diet and lifestyle can help minimise period pain. You could ease the pain with regular exercises. When you work out, your body releases endorphins or feel-good hormones which help in reducing the pain. Doctors say using a heating pad or pressing a hot water bag to the area where you experience cramps is an easy remedy. Simple analgesics like Paracetamol and antispasmodic drugs like Drotaverine often work too.
