Love might be in the air in February but it wins in June, because it's Pride Month. Here is why, pride month is important. In a country like India, where same-sex couples and those not conforming to rigid gender identities are denied equal rights, pride is important to push for those same rights. The draconian Section 377 is being re-examined in the Supreme Court which is the first of many steps towards equality.
