India-born cooks up a storm in MasterChef Australia: Meet Depinder Chhibber

One of the top contestant on popular reality show Masterchef Australia, Delhi born Depinder Chibber has cooked many hearty Indian meals on the show, wowing the judges. From cooking Butter Chicken to Chhole and Bhindi, the humble Indian dishes were evelated by Depinder for judges Jock Zonfrillo, Mellisa Leong and Andy Allen. Depinder’s Indian style ‘Bento Box’ was one of her most favourite dishes. In this exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times’ Ayushi Jindal, Depinder opened up about her childhood in India, her cooking inspiration, favourite places to eat in Delhi and her food dream.
