Blame game between BJP, TMC after clashes at Amit Shah’s Kolkata rally

Violence broke out at BJP president Amit Shah's roadshow in Kolkata on Tuesday. BJP supporters blamed TMC for the violence while TMC alleged BJP for violence. Shah's convoy was attacked with stones allegedly from inside the hostel of Vidyasagar College. Police had to intervene to control the clash between supporters of the two parties. BJP chief Amit Shah accused TMC workers of provoking violence due to frustration. Later, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Vidyasagar College in Kolkata after the clashes.
