Lok Sabha election 2019: EVMs, VVPATs found in hotel in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur

Two EVM machines and VVPATs were recovered on Monday from a hotel in Bihar's Muzaffarpur. The incident surfaced on a day when voting for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls was underway. Five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar went to vote on Monday. Notices have been issued to concerned people, seeking their replies on the matter. District Magistrate Alok Ranjan Ghosh said that sector officer was given some reserved machines so that it could be replaced with the faulty ones.
