India is hosting the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi from February 16–20, positioning it as a major Global South convening on AI governance, standards and real‑world deployment. The Ministry of External Affairs has listed 20 world leaders scheduled to attend at PM Modi’s invitation, including France’s President Emmanuel Macron and Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, alongside leaders from countries such as Greece, Spain, the UAE, the Netherlands and Sri Lanka.
