Meta To Report Child Sexual Abuse Material Directly To Indian Agencies| Instagram,Facebook

Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, will now directly report child-safety matters to India’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), amid increased scrutiny over alleged child sexual abuse material on Instagram. A Meta spokesperson said protecting children on its platforms is a priority and confirmed that the company will report child-safety cases directly to the cybercrime portal managed by I4C. The move comes after concerns were raised over alleged CSAM being promoted through Instagram.
