President Javier Milei showered praise on the legendary Argentine footballer Lionel Messi at the America Business Forum in Miami on Thursday, joking about congratulating a 'leftie' while referring to his favoured foot. "I am also pleased to share the stage with one of our most illustrious sportsmen and the pride of all Argentines, Lionel Messi. A man who took Argentine talent to the very top of the world. A living proof that effort, dedication and passion can create miracles," said Milei. The Argentine leader expressed satisfaction at taking part in the forum held on 5 and 6 November, which also featured US President Donald Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, alongside Messi.
