Myanmar Earthquake: India Rushes to Myanmar’s Aid | MEA Reveals Relief Ops |Death Toll Crosses 1,000

India has launched a major humanitarian relief effort, "Operation Brahma," to assist Myanmar after a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Sagaing region on March 28, 2025. During a press briefing, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that India has dispatched 15 tonnes of essential supplies, including tents, blankets, medical kits, and ready-to-eat meals, via an Indian Air Force C-130J aircraft.
