18 labourers missing near India-China border in Arunachal; One body found

- 2 weeks after 19 labourers went missing in Arunachal Pradesh's remote Kurung Kumey district, near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, a search operation has been launched by the police. As per ANI report, one labourer's body was found in the Kumey river in Damin area. The labourers were involved in road works in Damin, when they went missing. According to police, the labourers reportedly pleaded with the contractor to give them leave to celebrate Eid festival but when the contractor refused to give permission, they fled on foot but went missing in deep jungles of Kurung Kumey district.
