Afghan girl sends Kabul river water to PM Modi, offered at Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on October 31 that water from Kabul river will be offered at the Ram Mandir construction site in Ayodhya. The water was sent by an Afghan girl to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later, the water was reportedly mixed with Gangajal (water from Ganga river), and offered at the temple site. Adityanath said that it was creditable that the girl had sent water to signify her links with India and its holy sites, despite living under the rule of Islamist extremists Taliban.
