After Puri’s no shortage of LPG claim, opposition lashes out; ‘Go out and check for yourself…’

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri assured Parliament that there is no shortage of fuel in India, even as concerns grow globally after tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Puri said the supply of petrol, diesel, kerosene, aviation turbine fuel (ATF), and fuel oil remains fully secure. Puri noted that the world is currently facing an unprecedented geopolitical situation due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, and India must carefully navigate the consequences despite not being directly involved in the conflict.
