Former Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in Delhi on Thursday, as per reports. Amarinder Singh was seen leaving from Doval’s residence in the capital. This comes after Singh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday. Singh’s meeting with Doval and Shah comes amid speculations of him joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This also comes at a time when there is political turbulence in Punjab Congress. Singh resigned as Punjab Chief Minister citing month-long humiliation by a section of Congress leaders. Days after Singh’s resignation, Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned too. Assembly polls in Punjab are scheduled for 2022. Watch the full video for more details.
