Assam Rifles Thwarts Ambush By Gunmen Armed With Rocket Launchers At Arunachal Border

A convoy of three Assam Rifles vehicles was ambushed by unknown armed men in Assam's Tinsukia district on April 16. An Army jawan sustained serious injuries after suspected militants with rocket launchers and AK rifles attacked the convoy. ULFA (I) has claimed responsibility for their involvement in the attack.
