A highly radioactive capsule has gone missing somewhere along a 1,400-kilometer highway through the Western Australian desert. Its mysterious disappearance has sparked a nationwide radioactive danger alert as a massive search operation continues to locate the deadly device. The device is 8 millimeters in length and contains a small amount of the radioactive isotope caesium-137. Exposure to the substance could cause radiation burns or radiation sickness.
