'Be responsible': V-P Naidu on freedom of speech amid backlash against comics

As free speech debate rages across India, the country's Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has called on writers and thinkers to desist from hurting peoples' sentiments and beliefs while exercise their right to speech. Naidu was speaking at a function in New Delhi and his remarks came in the wake of ongoing right-wing backlash against several comics including Munawar Faruqui, Kunal Kamra and Vir Das. Naidu said that citizens can exercise their right by responsible means. Watch this video for more.
