BJP MP’s car attacked, windshield smashed as farmers show black flag in protest

• BJP MP Ram Chander Jangra faced farmer’s ire in Hisar on Friday. The MP reportedly called protesters 'jobless alcoholics from villages'. The protesters showed black flags to Jangra as he arrived to inaugurate a community centre. Hundreds of farmers gathered near the venue carrying black flags. Farmers chanted slogans against the MP, the windshield of his car was smashed. The MP accused farmers of smashing windshield & protesters blamed police. "These people are against the brotherhood of Haryana. This will bring a rift in our society, people will have to pay. SC has stayed the farm laws for 1.5 years. When the laws are not implemented then why are farmers protesting?" Jangra said. One farmer sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. A few policemen also got injured and a heavy police force was deployed.
