Canada is removing some of its diplomats from its missions in India following the backlash over Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blaming India for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Canada's Global Affairs said that diplomats received threats on various social media platforms. India too has tightened the security at its missions in Canada as well as deployed personal protection for the seniormost diplomats after Sikhs for Justice, or SFJ, released the Kill India posters in July and then a series of others blamed New Delhi for being behind the killing of Nijjar on June 18.
