Dalit boy forced to lick feet in U.P's Rae Bareli; 8 booked as video goes viral

• A Dalit boy was assaulted and forced to lick feet by assailants in U.P's Rae Bareli. U.P police arrested 8 accused in connection with the case after the video went viral and sparked outrage. The accused have been booked under IPC section for assault while SC & ST Act has also been invoked. The incident took place on April 10 and the victim filed a police complaint against the accused following which the action was taken.
